Time to try the sandwich that the great Elvis Presley adored and once flew himself and his freinds in his private jet from Memphis to Denver just to eat!! Also called Fools Gold Loaf. This version is a smaller version using sliced bread so just called the Elvis Sandwich.

Ingredients
3 slices cooked bacon
2 slices of white bread
3 tablespoons of peanut butter
1 banana, peeled and sliced
1½ teaspoons butter
Method
STEP 1
Cook the bacon rashers
STEP 2
Spread the peanut butter on one side of one slice of bread. Top with sliced banana, then the cooked bacon.
Cover with the other slice of bread.
Spread butter on the outside of the bread.
STEP 3
Heat a frying pan over a medium heat
Fry the sandwich on each side until golden brown and the peanut butter is melted.
Enjoyed by and named after the man himself Elvis Presley! This was one of his favourite sandwiches. Choose your bacon unsmoked or smoked whatever takes your fancy.
